The new mural of Welsh footballer Jess Fishlock in Splott Park (Jun 2025). Jess grew up in Llanrumney, went to school in St Teilo’s on Llanedeyrn Road and played her football in Splott. The press release explains the mural was ‘Created by Regan Gilflin and Cardiff-based creative studio Unify, this mural is the first of its kind in Wales, a powerful legacy piece honouring Jess Fishlock and her extraordinary impact on Welsh football.

‘Call the Ou’t by Unify Creative, Moira Terrace, Adamsdown, Cardiff. 2023. It was created to mark the Urdd’s 2023 annual Peace and Goodwill Message. It throws a spotlight on anti-racism, stating that if people see racism – to Call. Them. Out. The mural, features Urdd Ambassador Nia Fajeyisan.

Over the entrance to St Martin’s, Albany Road – Christ the Pantocrator of Roath by Aidan Hart, 2013. Based on the Deësis mosaic in Hagia Sophia, Istanbul, and a mosaic in the Sancta Sanctorum chapel of St John Lateran, Rome.
