By far the largest of Roath’s war memorials is the one at Cardiff Royal Infirmary where a whole wing of the hospital is in effect a memorial to the men that died in the 1914-1918 War. It is called the King Edward VII Hospital War Memorial. The inscription above that reads ‘What thou doest do ye in faith’. The memorial looks a lot cleaner these days after this part of the infirmary was refurbished in 2014.
